What is Touhou?

The Touhou Project is a series of 2D (with 3D background) vertically-scrolling danmaku shooting games made by Team Shanghai Alice, with two fighting game spinoffs co-produced with Tasogare Frontier. They are similar to regular shooting games, but focus more on weaving through complex patterns containing anywhere from dozens to hundreds of bullets. Every game in the Touhou series is set in the fantasy land of Gensokyo, and the series is known for its huge cast of characters, well-developed storylines, and related materials such as music CDs and fan-made comics.

I'm giving up Luna. Why? I never use her, and I know there's someone out there who can roleplay her loads better than I can. ~Lunar--Child is now vacant. I'm keeping Mokou, of course. In addition, ~patchiknowledge has been removed due to inactivity.

How to Join/Apply for a Character

1. Choose any character that's available.

2. Send a note to this account titled, "CHARACTERNAMEHERE Application", with this form filled out:

a) Name of the Character of your choice.

b) How often will you be able to sign on? (Honesty please.)

c) How would you roleplay this character? Sometimes personalities are hard to determine from playing the games.

d)Write me up a short monologue (No less than a paragraph) featuring your character of choice depicting how you think their personality would be.

e) Questions? Concerns? Let me know here.

3. WAIT UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION IS ACCEPTED. Then create your account. If you would like an icon for your account, let me know.

4. When your account is created, don't forget about your introduction journal. Watch the other members of the roleplay. Also, let me know via note or frontpage comment that your account exists.

RULES:

1. Please try not to be too OoC when roleplaying. I expect you to roleplay your character as described in your application.
2. Try your best to be active! If something comes up that interferes with your activeness, try to let me know ahead of time, and everything will be okay.
3. Be kind to each other. We all know that.
4. You are allowed to take two characters off the list.

If you already have a character and want to take another, please notify me by sending a note telling me which character you would like to take AND fill out the section d of an application. It will have to get accepted first before you can make the account, I'm afraid (sorry guys~ lD; ).
If you are new, simply send one note with ONE application for both characters. Part C of the application must be answered twice concerning the "character's personalities" bit.
5. GRAMMAR. Need I say more? (I even did a Triple threat there.)
6. This comes up due to complaints. If you reserve a character, you have five days to complete your application. Once five days pass, it will be taken off reservation.
7. This comes up due to an issue in chat; A member that can promote to members must be able to demote to at least Guests. Thus, we thought it would be easier to announce it in the journal: DO NOT ABUSE THIS PRIVILEGE TO DEMOTE OTHER MEMBERS. IF ANOTHER MEMBER IS ABUSING THE RULES, TELL A COADMIN. THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE FOR. A member to break this rule will recieve a temporary ban.
